Non- surgical face lifting: PDO threads

03/05/2018 at 14:38:43
The most common indication for a PDO threadlift in my practice is for lifting the jowls and the ideal patient is female, in their forties with mild to moderate laxity of the tissue.
PDO threads are inserted into the face, to internally ?zip lock? the tissues into position. The threads are not visible or palpable and dissolve gradually over 6 months, having stimulated collagen to fix the tissues over that time period.
The procedure is a much easier alternative to a facelift, being much quicker to perform, with much less downtime.
Dr Alison Duncan is an experienced female doctor whe has practised cosmetic medicine for 13 years.  She works at two clinics in Frampton on Severn in Gloucestershire, and Swindon, Wiltshire.
Opening times are  Monday to Friday 10-6 with some Saturday morning appointments.
