This is the newest therapy I have added to my treatment portfolio and I love it. I have been using it since 2018 and the response from clients has been incredibly positive. For myself, this is my ‘go-to’ treatment. It really is a game changer and beats any other skin hydrators that have been around over the years.
We start losing a significant amount of collagen elastin and hyaluronic acid after we reach 30, which means we start to see the signs of ageing in the form of lines, wrinkles and slightly lacklustre skin. Profhilo is the ideal starter injectable treatment, for someone who wants a skin pick me up with a natural glow, but doesn't want Botox®. Some people opt for Profhilo alongside Botox®, however, others have swapped and have the treatment around the eyes and forehead, which would have been their usual Botox® areas.
I have been able to use Profhilo to help soften upper lip lines, and necklines, and use it far more imaginatively than the basic treatment protocol. Having treated faces for over 15 years, my experience tells me how best to tailor Profhilo for an individual client.

Profhilo is an excellent choice for you if you want your skin to have an overall rejuvenated appearance. It will leave your skin dewy, supple and improve its overall texture whilst adding volume and hydration across the surface area treated, rather than volumising a specific anatomical point as Dermal Fillers do.
Profhilo is an injectable that is most commonly used for facial areas but can also be used effectively for rejuvenating the neck, décolleté, arms, knees, and hands.
Due to the way that Profhilo is formulated, it is not a volumising treatment in the same way that Dermal Fillers are. It is not used to specifically volumise cheeks, lips or chin. Profhilo is primarily a hydrating treatment and the hyaluronic acid it contains is dispersed evenly throughout the face, giving your skin a more plump and firm look overall. It treats skin laxity by bio-remodelling and has one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market.
To achieve the best long lasting results with Profhilo, 2 treatments are recommended with a 4-week interval. Some people may see the results within the first week, but the best outcomes of the treatment will be visible 4 weeks after your 2nd treatment. You may decide that this is the ideal high-tech facial for you and then go on to have the treatment every 6 months or so.
