Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a non-surgical treatment that utilises your own body’s healing abilities, to stimulate your skin to help tighten, lift and smooth it. I have offered PRP for over 5 years and have found many of my clients to be very loyal devotees of this treatment. It is a natural treatment and can treat a large area easily, for instance, face, neck, décolleté and hands.

I have done two courses in PRP, both in London and keep up to date with developments in the field. I have treated hundreds of patients with PRP and have had the treatment myself. It is definitely a treatment to consider for an all over rehaul, or just a focused treatment. As it is a needle treatment I can use the PRP quite specifically to give you the best results.

The whole face can be injected or smaller areas can be decided on such as crows feet, frown lines, lip lines or generally loose skin. Upper arms, hands, neck, décolleté and knees can all be treated. Acne scarring can also be treated effectively with PRP.
PRP treatment does tend to be stingy but tolerable. A topical anaesthetic cream will be used to ensure you are as comfortable as possible during your treatment.
While responses to treatment do vary, if you have severe skin issues you will need a course of 2-4 treatments with 6-12 monthly maintenance to achieve the best results. There is no limit to the number of treatments you have, but I will help devise a treatment plan with you.
Improvement of skin texture and tone are usually seen within 3 weeks. Full collagen regeneration takes up to 3 months.
Minimal swelling and redness for 12-24 hours. A few pinpoint bruises may occur which normally last 3-5 days. These can be camouflaged with makeup.
