Volume Loss

Facial sagging and volume loss are unfortunately part and parcel of the ageing process. Structural changes in the deeper levels of the skin contribute to a tired and worn-out appearance. Saggy cheeks are considered the most ageing feature in a person’s face and it is for this reason that we need to look at how the face moves and where the face has lost volume, to be able to restore elasticity and youthful features.

By replacing some of the missing facial volume, mainly around the midface, cheeks and temple area, we can achieve a plumper, lifted effect, including restoration of the jawline. This will also reduce the dreaded tired look around the eyes and restore some of the youthful facial proportions such as a fuller upper face and cheek region, whilst narrowing the area around the chin and jaw. 

The difference between a young face and an old face is volume.
